Amanda Antunes
Registered Nutritionist in Portugal 5787N • Dietitian-Level Training
My passion for the profession is driven by my belief in the transformative power of nutrition, both for the individual and for society.

I am Amanda Antunes, an Integrative Clinical Nutritionist specializing in behavioral nutrition, mindful eating, and plant-based diets.
I was born in London, raised in Búzios (RJ), and it was in Brazil that I took my first steps in nutrition, with a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition from the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO).
In 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, I moved to Portugal ready to start a new chapter of my life. I completed my academic equivalency at the Lusófona University of Lisbon, and today I am registered with the Portuguese Order of Nutritionists (nº 5787N).
Since 2015, I have been delving deeper into nutrition that goes beyond the prescriptive. My approach combines up-to-date science, active listening, and practical strategies that respect each person's individuality, food culture, and life stage.
I believe that eating well is not about following rigid rules, but rather about learning to listen to yourself, making conscious choices and building a lighter and more sustainable relationship with food — and with your own body.
In addition to providing personalized clinical care, I am also a co-teacher of the course “Practical Vegetarian Nutrition for Professionals” and the author of a research paper on Mindful Eating and eating patterns, presented at several academic events in Portugal.
Today, I serve people from different parts of the world, in Portuguese and English, focusing on a complete, accessible and transformative monitoring experience.
If you are looking for nutritional care that welcomes your story, respects your pace and promotes real change, I am here to walk with you.
